Sandy asks, "We live in an apartment. I am considering the tower garden. Realistically, how large is it, and how difficult is it to move? We would love to keep it on our patio in nice weather and move it indoors when the weather is rough."

Answer: Hi Sandy! You'd rarely have to move it inside. I move mine for hurricanes and tropical storms. The Tower Garden HOME is 24" wide and the Tower Garden FLEX is 30" wide. I prefer the FLEX for outdoors; however, I understand that apartment patios may do better with the HOME.

The Tower Garden HOME has space for 16 larger plants and 16 small plants. However, due to its 13 gallon capacity, is best suited to grow smaller varieties, like microdwarf tomatoes and Mini-Me cucumbers.

The Tower Garden FLEX can grow BIG plants! With a 20 gallon tank, you'll refill it less often than the HOME.

On a balcony, you will want to purchase the Tower Garden CAGE for your Tower Garden HOME or FLEX. Click the link to see more about the FLEX cage.
